On 19 September 2026, qmd participated in a workshop in Taiwan dedicated to the clinical application of helios, qmd’s professional high-power laser system.
Held in collaboration with local partner Medex Biotech Instruments Inc., the event brought together professionals interested in exploring the use of helios through clinical content, direct exchange and live demonstrations.
High-power laser technology in clinical practice
During the workshop, speaker Dr. Maurizio Gioda presented the application of helios and demonstrated the system in practice. With multiple devices available, the theoretical content could be complemented by direct experience of the technology.
Martin Dellavaja represented qmd at the event and contributed to the exchange with the local partner and participating professionals.
International collaboration
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for professional education and exchange while strengthening the collaboration between qmd and Medex Biotech Instruments Inc. in the Taiwanese market.
